Life goes on no matter what

It’s always so hard to blog after a while without writing anything. I just never quite know what of the things that happened are still important enough and which ain’t. Plus I had a blog entry finished last week but then I messed up the wordpress installation… and now that’s out-dated. Soooo my try to sum things up:
I finally handed in my application for the student exchange program to Japan. If all works well I’ll be going to Osaka next fall semester for a year. I’m so excited already. I already heard back from our foreign exchange office that my application was picked, so most likely I’ll get accepted. \*^_^*/
College started again a while ago, too. And once again I’m not taking as many classes as I should be. (Talk about a cliché lazy student…) BUT!! I’ve decided to spend a lot of time with self studying this semester. To, like, basically expand my knowledge about my research areas and all. There’s so much to do though that I don’t really know yet where to start. I also want to start reading scientific journals, or at first find out more about which ones are important to me and which aren’t. I do know some names already from past classes so at least I’ll have somewhere to start from.
As for my private life, things still are kinda weird. I thought I had moved on to a happier me, but the sad thoughts still keep coming back. Maybe I was expecting things to change too fast. I have to give it some time I guess. I don’t feel like writing more about this right now, except for this: I finally seem to be moving in the right direction…
